Karlsplatz and Belvedere

I sit writing this from a place I wasnt even planning on visiting. Karlsplatz. But now I'm glad I did.  Everyone (me included) is just sitting around in front of this beautiful church dipping their feet in the fountain. I was going to get the tram to Belvedere Castle - my intended destination, but thought I'd walk since its not that far.

Now at Belvedere Castle I have tired and achey feet but I've seen some lovely places. On the way here I found a lovely fountain and memorial and I swapped photographer roles with two polish boys. I tried to take a selfie (a photograph of yourself for those who are lacking in todays slang) but they noticed I was struggling and offered to help.
I will definitely be taking the tram back though!

Belvedere Castle has beautiful gardens. They also have benches in the shade that make for a lot nicer visit. Whilst sitting on one of said benches,  a romamian man came up and asked me for the time. I told him and then he asked me where I'm from. I said England and he said I looked Russian. I wasnt sure whether that was a compliment or.....

On the way back I bought a käsekrainer which is an Austrian delicacy apparently. It was nice but it wasnt anything special. The man put so much ketchup on that I almost had a ketchup stain to go with the ice cream stain on my other shorts.

I'm just relaxing at the hostel and resting my feet before heading out to Musuemquartier this evening
