Rain rain go away...

I cannot wait to get to Lake Bled and just spend three days sitting by the Lake with minimal walking. My feet need a damn good rest. They ache from the minute I get up to the minute I go to bed.

After a monsterous climb up to Prague Castle,  pounding head and aching calf muscles, the castle had better have been pretty special.

I think I had too high expectations for the castle. I didn't think it was that special. There was a beautiful cathedral but thats about it.

I think I jinxed it earlier. Yesterday when I got off the train I put my raincoat in my bag and this morning when I was repacking it I took it out, thinking I wont need it. Now its raining and I'm sheltering under a tree in a tiny park, along with 50 other people. Hopefully its just a short shower.

I have dived into a restaurant just in time it seems. Its just started chucking it down.

I just ate my starter. It was delicious. I included a picture for you. Parents - you will be pleased to hear I even ate some of the carrot. Or maybe you will be too busy to care,  since you tried so desperately to avoid me during your holiday! I hope you enjoy it any how.

The woman next to me just ordered a burger,  sent it back for being too undercooked and then didnt even eat it when it came back. She explained to the waitress 'its perfect, its just me'. What?

Its stopped raining but the sun hasn't come back out and I actually feel a little bit chilly.

A rather old car came and parked outside the restaurant I was at (see photo). It received alot of attention. There are a lot of old cars in Prague. You can get a tour in one. You can also do segway tours. This seems to be the new trend in Europe.

Going to go for a wander round the square now the rain has stopped. I'm going to risk it and not take a coat. Wish me luck

  1. Good luck!

Food looks yummy and don't worry about the rain, it won't make you exhausted like the heat!
